another excuse

Hi,

I'm not an artist looking for a platform,
I'm a programmer who ends up doing a fair amount of design.

I've respected this community for a long time,
I see no way I could produce a pale reflection of the quality displayed outside my little corner of :devart:

So as of yet I have nothing to show.
I have joined now though,
so I best shape up
or mine will become a corner where dust collects and people forget.

I stay in Newlands... I could probably hit the rugby stadium with a rock from my room...

They are doing some sort of renovations on the building between the stadium and my spot, and have been for the last +/- 8 months.
So I get woken every morning at 07H30 Monday to Saturday (Sometimes Sunday) by the sound of jackhammers.

I work freelance (from home) so there's no escaping it.
It's not too bad though.
I've ended up rather working nights.
I like the quiet and the darkness.

Plus I get the chance to try and catch a mugger or robber
every now and then.
It's fairly good exercise, but not regular enough.

I can't seem to get them to sit down calmly to write up a schedule.
